hello Heather, what a problem you have, they  should be made to replace  what  was broken. Sorry tut tut   needed   new batteries. Every thing costs a fortune now.
I mowed the back lawn this morning just before it rained. We have  showers  due all next week, but tomorrow should be  fine, so I might wrap up and potter in the  garden while I   have chance. Buds are starting to open and there is colour in parts of the garden at last. I pulled some rhubarb today, not a lot but it was nice stewed with custard.

hello Heather, I am well thank you. It was a busy week. The water board fitted me a  meter on monday, so hopefully that  will cut the bill by a lot. Tuesday the c/h was serviced. Wednesday I went to Lincoln to see my sister in hospital. Thursday I took  a friend for a  meal as she is 83 this weekend. Today was a chill day ! How are you ?  xx
