Oh honey.  I understand your worries.   I had my Tim in far toooo many war zones.  His PTSD was so bad he became an alcoholic.   At times I had to sit on him when he had DYs.  Finally after 4 bouts in patient he has been sober for 10 years.  He is a home owner, and is now in management at our local Time Warner (Spectrum) cable.  He runs AA meetings twice a week.  My Ed and I wanted to adopt him, but he will be 50 this year, and Ed is gone.  His mom (my sister) died at 39, and his dad a few years later.  I need to get the lawyer to change my will, and make sure he has a bigger part of our estate.  I want to make sure he will be ok when I am gone.  We don't have much, but our house is now assessed at nearly 700,000.  Taxes are going to kill me this year.  I can make it about 1 year here, and my shrink said no financial decisions for 18 months.  I need time to grieve.   I ALSO NEED TO LAUGH, SO KEEP THE JOKES COMING SO I CAN STEAL THEM.   HAAAAA

We made it home at about 5pm.  Man I can say the worst roads and drivers were here in Wisconsin..we did 4,308 miles.  Lots of forest fires,  one so close I 79 was closed just after we drove by one where we saw huge flames.  In Nebraska we found amazing high end thrift stores in Omaha,  and saw a huge collection of Kate Spade bags for $30 each.  The volunteer told us recently they got several Hermes bags.  Drat I might have gotten myself one.. I also learned not to trust the phone for maps.  I learned yesterday that the town we stayed in was 200 miles farther than I thought.  Longhggggg days.  Time to crash

Today we had smoke again until the rain started.  It seems so early and so sad for those in Canada.  Tonight that storm in St. Louis hits us.  Soooo no sleep for me again.  I am getting ready to make my drive to AZ to scatter Ed's ashes.   We are spending 3 days inside Bryce Canyon.   I am crossing my fingers for good weather.   I want to do a star gazing thing, and hike into the Canyon.   I want to get there by 6pm, so we have to leave Tucson by 9am.  I plan on taking the entire family out to a nice dinner the day we spread him.  I need to ask the family to help with a choice of restaurant.

Not much else here.  The quiet is weird.  J

I woke up this morning with pains under my shoulder blades, I spent last night coughing.  Sooooooo just after my cup of coffee I went up and did a nebulizer.   There is no global warming right....we have 30 and a snow mix Monday for opening day for the brewers.  But Saturday we may get 70.  Oof

Boy I agree.  My head see.s like it is under water.   We had thunder snow earlier.   Fortunately walks are warm so I do have to shovel.   Next week cold til Wednesday,  then up to near 50. Woot.

Ed is sleeping like a baby.  Neither of us slept last night.  Basically his worrying kept me awake.  I thought freeway would be empty at 430am, but noooo.  What surprised me the most was how full the highway was going into the city.  The hospital was in a western county so my On Star got me there.  Waukesha does not have tons of street lights, and without it I would have never found it in the dark.  Time for me to check out, but I am watching the Grammys a d have 2 hours left...thank God for jumps during commercials.  Keep warm.  It is warmer about -15 feels like.  A,shot of Wild Turkey American Honey, but da g cabinets are empty.  Haaaaaaa
