Returning very belated sprinkles from The Great Plains of Nebraska, US. Waiting on a big thunderstorm to hit...any second now. Been hot as...well you know..96 F today and it is only early May. Whew.

Theo is doing great. Gaining weight. Eating like a horse. and doing cat things.

Semester is almost over. I have one final to do, one certification exam to finish and my graduate Master's program to button up and I will be a genuine Entomologist..

Then on to the next adventure. Either a PhD here in Lincoln NE, a job in Massachusetts US with the government on invasive species work, or start a Museum Studies Certificate here in Lincoln and then morph it into a PhD..OR I have also been approached about a possible teaching position here at the University of Nebraska..We will see.

But first my summer pest insect survey in Nebraska starts on May 23rd. gonna be hot. But I love working in the field.

And working in a two week road trip to Yellowstone in July.

I need a nap.
