That was sweet of you to send a wedding gift of gold. TYVM! You have the patience of a saint for waiting until after the holidays to finish your violet plate. I am looking forward to putting poinsettias in there and dragging them out in the summer. lol

I can't wait to finish my current blue trail so I can relax over Xmas! x

I've done the whole of the topiary trails so far, ie up to blue, without looking up the order in advance on the calculator, and I'm wondering whether I can manage to do that for indigo and violet. I'm tempted to try and find out! But I need to do some planning about how many plants I'd need to have planted at the same time so that everything was ready when needed. I'm probably mad, but I like the challenge! This is why I'm going to need a lot of friends when I get to indigo/violet so that I can find gardens attracting the same things, and it may not be possible! And like you, I'm worried that there won't be enough people doing the topiaries - there are so few already! Let's keep in touch anyway, and I hope we can help each other out. If it looks like being too difficult, I may have to give in and use the calculator! xx
