Yes, since you love history you would have been overwhealmed at places like Mesopotamia. We also went to Gobeklitepe, ancient Edessa (Urfa today) ,Medyat, Mardin, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Mount Nemrud where big ogkolith stautes are..
Still I am so tired from the trip, home, work and sleeping. Like this trip, an organized one, I think of going to lake Van and the North East of Asia Minor (today Turkiye there lying) and Iran. The last one is on my mind since 2019. So many places to see, historical, artistic, poetic, full of history.
Meanwhile, I have bought cheap tickets with  open dates till October for places close here and in Europe.
Summer is here for good, weather is hot but what else to expect in this season? Swimming to cool down but still haven't made it.
Today is public holiday (religious feast) and I am happy staying at home.

Hello there. How are you? It's less than a week that I am back and I try to come around from the tiredness of the Mesopotamia trip. It was wonderful, I saw so many ancient places, cultures,  2 big historical rivers, interesting today's cities and how they advanced through time..
I am grateful to God I was able to go there and soon I will start thinking of my new adventure.
