I think my face problem is from the flooding, and clean up.  I  got a plumber to replace the hot water heater, but my nephew needs his furnace and air conditioner replaced toooooo.  He lost everything and one wall is crumbling, so foundation specialist needed.  Tomorrow the building inspector for the city is coming in before we can go to the next step.  He lost everything  poor guy.  He is more of a son as his mom died young, and he lived here before he enlisted in the army.  He has been in way toooo many war zones, but after 17 years he came back home.  He lived here again while dealing with ptsd, and alcohol problems.   4 stints in rehab and now he has been sober for a decade.  Our adult children think of him as a brother tooooo.  So when he flooded 12 days ago we were there to help
  Now we need to have more than a day or two without rain.  Off and running

Oh honey nothing worse than having to replace appliances.  When I remodeled our kitchen last year we donated our frig and stove to a charity that gives them to folks that cannot afford new.  There was nothing wrong with mine, so I scrubbed them out, and they looked like new.   I wanted everything new, and waited 40 years for it.  My stove is an air fryer tooooo.  I love the air fryer, and air baking.  Nothing turns black with burns anymore.   Weeee

Today it is wildfire smoke from the north that made it to Milwaukee  .  We have a giant festival this weekend where people come from all over to ride their Harley Davidson motorcycle and have a good time.  Friday we had to cancel all outdoor things.  There was a small tornado about 35 miles from my house, so the Hank Williams concert was called off at about 1 hour before it was supposed start.  All those nice people with their fantastic bikes had to take cover.  They were spared yesterday.   Chris Stapleton headlined, and it was perfect weather.   Have a lovely lovely week, keep cool.  Hugs.

I am driving my husband's ashes to Arizona.   Today was 12 hours driving 80 miles per hour.  Only stopped for gas in car and the loo.  Ha.  There are highway rest stops, but several were closed for renovation.   Tomorrow we play in New Mexico.   We are taking a break so my daughter can visit with a friend. 

Same here.  Too much stuff. 

I lost my husband to a heart attack.  I was doing CPR when the paramedics got to the house,  but it is foggy after that.  He was on life support until Thursday,  but a brain scan showed major problems.   He lived for about 1 hour after life support was removed.   We were married for 57 years.

Sorry to hear your children have to work.  Today was cool but sunny when I went with friends .  We like charity shopping,  but most do not get old items any more.  I have a collection of vintage jewelry, but rarely find anything.   It is fun being with friends tho.
