The Rainbow Candy Critters require new combinations of Candy shapes/colours, one of which needs to be a Rainbow Candy. Whenever there is a Rainbow Candy in your Garden, the Candy Critters will alter their behaviour to help you figure out the combos required for the Rainbow Candy Critters instead of the violet ones.

This chart is for the buds you get after a seed has been dropped in an empty pot.
Whichever critter (look below) dropped the seed will go with the bud you get when dusting a few times. That way when you have it narrowed down to the shape and are trying for the correct color, you can dump seeds that are incorrect for the color you’re trying for.

You may know this already, If you hunt for jellybeaks( they drop the heart shape candy) instead of just planting from your stores… you will have a better chance of getting the color you need.  If you check to see which bud shape it is once it lands in your empty pot.. you can eliminate and dump it before it ruins your pot. ( then you can use the same pot again) And you also narrow your chances of getting the shape and color you need :)) hope this helps

I think you have got the hang of this now :) I can’t keep up to your changes, especially with us being in different time zones. The objective is to find the correct three in a row, both color and shape. (orange, green, indigo) candy for the same critter. Once you do have all three proper ones for the of the same critter, the violet ones will start to come. You have to catch your tenth violet one in an empty pot in your garden. Once you get that, it will grow into a rainbow candy. With that rainbow candy you have to find the other two candies that will get your rainbow critter to come. :) you got this :)) have fun. STAGE 1: 2
Next you will need to try 3 different shapes and repeat all the above with them (That's assuming you haven't found all the right shapes yet).
There are 7 shapes, but if you have tested 6, the 7th will be wherever you still have gaps (in an ideal world)

STAGE 2
After trying out the shapes, you should know all the shapes you need to get the violet Candydevil (also the violet Cherrymole).
The next stage is to find the right colours.
Hunt for the shapes you need and make sure they are in the right positions (left, middle, right).
Any in colours you have already tried or as soon as a red, yellow or blue Candydevil comes along, you know you can harvest that candy (but don't leave yourself short of the 3 candies).  Keep the correct ones and hunt again for the remaining shapes.
Always note the colours you've tried whether correct or not.
Once all 3 shapes and colours are correct, you will be able to attract the violet Candydevil. It may take a while to come as you will also be attracting orange, green and indigo Candydevils (and possibly some Cherrymoles)
