Neville to Luna: "Help? You know you can always count on me, even if magical creatures have never been my field of expertise, but, Luna, I thought your husband would help; after all, his grand-dad was famous for this and he chose the same career, no?
Luna: he went to the Lost Realm, one of the first ever to cross the threshold, he said he needed to see the marvelous animals before everyone.
Neville: and?
Luna: He hadn't been allowed by Snape. He died. Disappeared. Vanished. I do not know, really. He had been warned"

Neville nodded, his eyes shining with enthusiasm. "I shall teach a new generation of wizards, unless I'd be recruited to join one of the teams due to explore... Wait, I was not supposed to talk about this."
Luna laughed and innocently added: "to explore the great space, at the other end of the wormhole where the other races have already pursued the quest for survival? Don't look at me like this Neville, I've been recruited too. I am working with Hagrid to preserve the magical creatures from this world and we don't have much time until doors close again between the Earth and the lost Realm. That's why I'm here today, I need help."

In the professors' common room at Hogwarts castle, several professors were packing and Luna Lovegood had found Neville, storing papers in a cardboard box.
Luna: Harry told me that you were considering leaving Hogwarts? You're going to the lost realm with your parents then?
Neville, who hadn't seen her coming, jumped and spilled his tea all over the table.
Neville: Oh Luna.  Yes, yes and no. I... I've been approached by Aberforth to gather all sorts of plants, seeds, to provision the Realm with everything they might need, after all, the population there shall grow and people shall need to eat, to heal, to admire its beauty and to do magic too. Another Hogwarts is being built there for the instruction of a new generation of wizards and little folk too.
Luna: so you're telling me that you'll resume your post as professor there?

Harry who couldn't let his friends fight so bitterly had forced entry to Hermione's office.
Harry: STOP IT! We can find a way but stop yelling and making threats like that. I've just talked to my mother and we don't have the luxury to fight, both our worlds are about to disappear and I want to be part of the solution, not the problem!
Hermione: I am trying to save this world, Harry, our world; muggles have never been so close to annihilate all life on the planet and I am training and dispatching wizards and witches in places of power to prevent the catastrophy, how could I leave now?!

Shouting voices were heard near the closed doors of the Prime Ministre deep inside the Ministry of Magic and an embarrassed Harry Potter decided to let the storm pass.
Hermione (exasperated): "I cannot join Fred and George in the Lost realm, Ronald! I am the prime ministre and a majority of the wizards and witches refuse to pass the threshold as they have muggle family here. My parents are here and who can tell if Snape could reopen the gates anytime soon?
Ronald: I MUST go! It's been hard enough to lose Fred, now George is also going, even Percy has decided to abandon his precious job here; you're the ministre, write an order to force everyone on the other side, even the muggles, the Realm looks vast enough for everyone. I'm warning ye, I'm taking the kids with us..."

Two weeks had passed and more families were reunited with one or more of their loved ones, killed during the battle of Howarts had been revived by either Snape, Lily Evans or Aberforth Dumbledore. Extreme joy was mixed with tears when they understood that they'd be seperated again soon, as the "deceased" would not survive long in the muggle world and debate was raging.
Who would go to the mysterious "Lost realm" with them, who'd remain behind and who would chose to be on the team to save both worlds?

Hermione was still wet from the death stopper potion sojourn in the tank, before her stood Snape, a much younger version of him, with perfect pointed ears. "I am the heir of the dark elves realm, I was left here with three volunteers to help save both our worlds before it is too late. I remember who you were when I was a mere wizard."
"A mere wizard?" asked Hermione "you were one of the most powerful of this time". He had a dismissal gesture. "I had been there to learn and learning is something that you sure understand. The muggle world is doomed unless we do what's necessary to save it. Once the Creator's races played with the living to ensure they'd have servile creatures to do the work they wouldn't do, they took mammals and enhances their capacities, just like later on, wizards and witches would do with house elves. But playing God and using the red matter is not without consequences and now both our worlds are about to collapse and be destroyed."

George Weasley couldn't believe what his senses were yelling at him. "It's the cruellest prank to do that!" but Fred laughed and hugged him. All of the Weasleys had been summoned back and witnessed the miracle.

"Is it Snape? Lavender and Colin said it was Snape" said Ron. Fred replied: "no, it was Harry's mom, just looking a lot younger like she was in her pics. She was so serious and yet smiling and had a glow around her, she said to go see my family and ask if you'd come with us."

"Come with you? Where?"

"I'm still dead for this world, but I have an entire life to live if I follow her to the fair elves realm; she took years of her life to give it to me but when she's gone, I'll be dead again unless I follow her." replied Fred

When Albus Potter and Ron Weasley reached the cemetary where Snape had been buried twenty years ago, the lament chant had stopped and the tombstone cracked open revealed an empty coffin. "Uncle Ron! Look! Other graves are in the same state! Lavender Brown; Colin Crivey...".
But Ron had already recognized his former girlfriend, looking a bit lost and as young as he remembered her. "No, this is not possible. Fenrir Greyback killed you, even the stone of resurrection cannot bring people back from Death!" But Lavender was in his arms, crying and Ron could feel her returning warmth and even her hair perfume. He buried his head in her mane. "You're alive, thank Merlin, you're alive!"
