"Oh my, you poor boy! Sit down, sit down, tea is almost ready and this chicken should be too, ten minutes max. You're welcome of course, very welcome indeed."
Soon enough, Scorpius was gulping his food, his mouth too full of chicken and roasted potatoes to ask questions. Rolf Scamander (Luna Lovegood's husband was eating too, telling tales of escaping nifflers and wandering hens.) "You don't mind if I put another chicken in the oven? When he'll come here, he'll be probably as famished as you were"

With caution, Scorpius used the ladder inside the suitcase and managed to close it before releasing the naughty niffler. He could feel the wind and fresh air coming from further inside but his sense of smell indicated that an oven had a chicken roasting with potatoes and tomatoes and some cake had been baked too.
"Snif, snif... Merlin be praised, it smells like vanilla and... snif snif apples too". A small kitchen soon appeared in a round room, and there, sitting next to the oven, a man in his early thirties, with curly blonh hair and a fiery incurved moustache and a well trimmed beard. He looked rather surprised to see the young wizard but extended an arm to shake his hand.
"Oh hello! My name is Rolf Scamander and you are?"

Exhausted by what seemed days of exploring and dizzy with thirst and hunger, Scorpius had laid down in a corner of what looked like a more welcoming place and sank in an agitated sleep, populated by nightmares. Hadn't he been this fatigued, maybe the young Malfoy would have noticed that the soil beneath his body was no longer rock and stone but a silver sand bed.
He had only thought it'd be more comfortable to sleep on this than just the dark stone; someone had had the same idea, just twenty meters away laid a worn out suitcase and something had been trying to escape. The old luggage lock finally gave up and a tiny paw emerged from it, followed by a very plump and furry body. Seeing Scorpius asleep, sniffing something attracting, the small creature began searching the boy's pocket until it found the golden artefact. Scorpius woke up suddenly, catching the little thief.
"A niffler!" said Scorpius, surprised.

Scorpius had lied to his best friend, Albus would tell it all to his dad and no Malfoy would like a Potter on his back, on his tracks, especially if he was exploring a sphere prohibited by the Ministry of Magic. When one's dad is an auror and your parents former Death Eaters, honesty wasn't always the best path to follow.
He was exhausted to use his wand and the "lumos" curse for hours in these caves. He was sure he had discovered the land of the kobolds, but at which price? It was utterly empty. Just corridors of rocks and stones.

Scorpius was lost. Totally, completely lost and he cursed himself for being such an imbecile, going on such an expedition all by himself. Aberforth Dumbledore's former tavern had always been the  place for adventurous sorcerers and people with dubious virtues, why did he liked the place so much? He and Albus Severus spent so many hours there, trying to learn what was forbidden at Hogwarts, through bits of conversations and Weasley's ears spying stuff. Now that Aberforth was back, it had been crowded with all sorts of people, even "creatures" he couldn't identify. Hiding in his cellar had been easy, the man wasn't too enclined on cleaning. What he had learned there, he's had to hide it from everyone, even Albus. Now he regretted bitterly, cause he was alone and starving.

In the Forbidden Forest, James Potter was seated on an old oak tree stump, marking one of the entrance to the Lost Realm. Smoking a pipe, he was laughing with Lupin, Tonks and their son, Teddy. "Aren't we supposed to verify their identity?" gestured Teddy to the families of wizards crossing the threshold with all sorts of luggages. Potter shrugged: "Do you see me acting as some sort of customs officer? I'd be totally... riddikulus!" and he laughed along with Lupin. Both looked like fresh student barely out of Hogwarts and Teddy who was now 25, wondered if they had aged at all in their head. No one was now anxious about Rolf Scamander's disappeance or the absence of news on the Malfoy's expedition.
"When shall we depart for good? The gates won't stay open for ever you know" replied Lupin, looking at the dark cloud twirling beyond the old tree.
"I shall leave tomorrow; Lily says they've found several cities, all empty now and I must secure the whole family and you my friends some nice place to stay."
Lupin frowned "I wonder where the people who owned those places went."   

Neville looked at Luna then took his decision. "We've agreed that I'd go there with sample of magical and muggle seeds, just like Luna's husband with his magical creatures' suitcase. Since we were going to the same direction, I shall go earlier than I had expected and lead an expedition to look for him and for Malfoy's son, Scorpius. If any of you is willing to come with me, we shall begin our search tomorrow."

in Godric's hollow, Lily has had to faced a crowd of concerned wizards and witches who demanded explanations and protection.
Why didn't they revived Draco's wife to prevent his son Scorpius to wander in the Lost Realm unaccompagnied?" Calmly, Lily had gestured them to sit and explained. "I am not here to ressuscitate every witch who has died a natural death, only those who passed away during the war against the Death Eaters and Tom Riddle's victims."
Neville stood and asked: "Why is that and why didn't you do nothing to save my parents?"
Lily: "I don't have that kind of powers, Neville. I am no healer, all I can do is give back years to those who died. (seeing that they did not understand) Like a life transfusion. We've agreed between Severus, Aberforth and I to shorten our long life to give it back to those we failed to save back then. Draco's mother didn't die because of us."
