I am back

My bod is aching from the raking. Hahaha.

I am waiting for a gold dodo. Another one was missed overnight. Until then...cannot move along.
Glad that I got all the raking done yesterday...well, it is far from done but a good start. I will not be doing any today with it being this cold.
The world seems quiet this morning with the election behind us.
No exercise class again today as there is a luncheon  and training session for the instructors. Really getting out of the groove.
Eavestroughing all done...even the modifications that I wanted which were done yesterday morning before eight. I just wanted a couple downspouts to reach out further from the foundation.

The Leafs are caving...their normal way of play. They had best pull up their socks for the next game.
I was watching television this evening...too much Fairyland this morning and then a whack of raking and leaf pickup this afternoon....did that in shifts as so blinking hot with no shelter from the sun. Took advantage as they kept saying rain was coming. It never came. The temp plummeted from 27 degrees C to five....and according to the computer it feels colder.
Smell you tomorrow.

One should never think that one is in the bag. Was watering away in yours and another garden...and missed the golds...and everything else. Auks and mammoths seem to be my catches...and worms.
Your dodo came fast. I mean...it took a full day for my gold dodo and ibex.
I am late for brekkie because of watering gardens. Hahaha.

The convoy just brought together a bunch of misfits. Those who must have been out of work because how else did they have all that time off? Some were against immunization. Some hated Trudeau. Some just wanted to be part of something. But to block the downtown...with honking...and defacing monuments...and then making it into a party with a bouncy castle and BBQ's. It would be intimidating to try to walk along the streets...and who knows if people were harassed. Most likely.

I stayed up late because I wanted to watch. And up early because still charged. Our area remained stagnant with its Conservatives always win. But the newbie Liberal did quite well so I hope that he takes a chance next time. We have a number of Freedom Convoy people in town...they still flap their flags. Used to do their own parades through town. There was nothing free about what they did...holding the city of Ottawa hostage. I feel hopeful for a secure future.

I remember our daughter and the kid next door would help...and they would end up scattering the leaves everywhere...the ones just raked up....and then trying to wheel the other in the wheelbarrow.
