Really windy here. I went out with a sweater on over my tee and a bit chilly. I wanted to get the last two deck chairs away in the shed. Don't think that I will be needing them.

I just read that some parts of the province are to get snow today...we are not part of that...so hoping that is correct.

Keep that photo up of our Blue Jays fan to bring us luck for tonight's game. I suspect that parents will have their kids out early tonight to be back in time to watch the game.
It is just grey here...probably cold. Rain has been predicted but we were lucky yesterday and we only got sprinkles for a bit last evening. Day was lovely.

I meant to post a message to you here yesterday...but thought...oh you are busy with Paislee back at school and after school activities...and work. And I didn't want to sound pushy asking about Brett. But oh my gosh...your Mom. Yes, indeed....if your Dad has to stay away for a few days...what a delight it would be to have her with you.
This has been one stressful season.
And BRRR....minus two degress C on our themometer. I refuse to put the deck furniture away...as I am hoping that we have another warm spell and can sit on the deck.

I guess with kid being up...time for me to roll too. Hahaha. Just been sitting on my butt writing messages to friends. One lives in Calgary and we have been friends since childhood days...there was a stretch where we lost contact...after she had moved...but we are back in touch daily.

No kidding. YAY Jays!
And how about this weather...rain predicted for almost every day. Yay?

Thanks for spotting my ghostly field mouse

When the cat's away(Brett) the mice will play(you and Marley).
It is really lovely out...I raked a section of leaves at the back and Fang liked laying in them. Not too happy when they were pretty much gone. I didn't do a great job...just raked the thick cover onto two gardens in prep for winter.
I find fresh air liberating...and calming.
Eating an early lunch as have dance at one...so I guess that I had best get started.

It was loud in the house. I had taken Fang off her meds on the Saturday as she had been eating for a couple days. Then I gave her her pain med...one dose on the Sunday as she just was not herself...no prancing about and not eating again. I think that all the excitement in the house was a bit much for her. No meds yesterday or today. She played with her one toy last night which was encouraging.
It is nice to have a quiet house again to be honest. And I think that the visit was long enough. We all worked on a craft together...just painting...but we had difficulty getting the markers to work on the wood due to the pieces being sealed. It is one of those book nooks...like a wood puzzle...and we didn't have time to assemble so will do that over the next few days. I think that it will look fun...because normally they are just left with an all wood look. The splashes of colour will make the tea party come alive.
I am day confused...but should get back in the groove by the weekend. Hahaha.
It seems warmer today but looks like rain is on the way.
