I see you got your question answered. You'll be able to get food when you spot a black and white critter in a garden with bamboo. Giant Pandas give double organic, others only give single, so that's the best way to go.

If you use the drop down box for the bamboo, clicking on the help button tells you how to do it, so keep that in the mind as a first step if you aren't sure of how something works in the future.

Hi, you don't buy the food. You spot a giant Panda while having fully grown bamboo in the pot

When you're ready, grow one of your bamboo to fully grown then go spot a giant Panda. The bamboo food will land on an empty table in your garden. Hope this helps

Hi Barbara as far as i know you only need spot any black and white critter in a garden which also has a fully bamboo plant in it x

It does not have to be a panda even a lowly racoon should do the trick x

I had the same problem
the Bamboo has to be fully grown to catch a Panda you need an empty platter out and come spot a Panda in my garden I have new food out and it will send food to your empty platter
I spotted a Panda - it sent food to my platter in my garden - hope this helps
