STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD
Recipe by: Sarah Kraffty on TT
Bottom Layer
2.5 cups crushed pretzel Rold Gold
1.5 cups melted unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
Middle Layer
16 oz softened cream cheese Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 cup sugar
8 oz cool whip COOL WHIP
Top Layer
2 cups boiling hot water
6 oz strawberry jello powder
1.5 cups frozen sliced strawberries
1. Bottom Layer: Crush up 2.5 cups pretzels. I like to place mine in a zip loc bag and use a rolling pin to crush. Then add 1.5 cups melted unsalted butter and 1/2 sugar. Place into a 9x13 baking dish, evenly flatten and press pretzels onto baking dish. Bake at 350F for 15 mins. Allow to cool.
2. Middle Layer: in a middle bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar. Then fold in cool whips. Spread this all over the pretzel crust.
3. Top Layer: combine 2 cups boiling hot water with 6 oz strawberry jelly powder. Then add in 1.5 cups frozen sliced strawberries. Allow to cool before pouring this over the cool whip mixture.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before enjoying.
