1.076400 ft² trees down here, lying on the ground like you spilled out a box of matches , after the storm , and now loads of snow on top of it. We have our fair share too here just in a different way, people freeze to death, homeless people and people living in poor conditions wild animals, the reindeers can´t find food because of the snow on the ground, can´t reach it .. people with farms that are out of electricity, can´t give their animals water, since their pipes freeze .. and they can´t melt snow either .. We had a storm, knocking the trees down just before Christmas, roads blocked, families without electricity and then came the snow! Loads and loads of snow. ☃️ Yesterday Gothenburg had to take all busses & trams out of traffic, people used their skis (in a big city) to get to work, but most of them were stranded in different locations. For hours .. Total chaos actually in many places. It’s been very cold too, but today it’s only -4 C and that ’s pretty warm actually (wintertime ) we’re expecting more snow today.
I prefere the cold, I could never live in Australia, with the terrible heat , I don’ t tolerate more than 27 C , it’s pretty tough, since it’s getting warmer sometimes during summer nowadays.
