The Hog's Head inn had never been students' favourite. It wasn't in Hogsmeade main street, and its owner, a taciturn man had never shown them any warmth, courtesy or even the slightest interest in acquiring their custom. However, Snape had discovered by sheer luck (and hours of putting his nose where it wasn't wanted) that a narrow tunnel was linking the room of requirements to the Hog Head Inn's cellar.
If Aberforth had rules against underage students coming from his cellar and ordering butterbeer, he never voiced them and for more than a year, the Inn had become Snape's happy place.
