Back from WWG, and really cold out there, after being milder yesterday. We played Blockbuster today. Sausage and mash for lunch with stuffing and gravy, followed by fruit crumble and custard. Had a practice fire alarm too, Julia and the volunteers had known about it, but obviously we didn’t know. We all did ok, picked up on too much noise, and some had stopped to collect their coats and bags. Scoured a couple of the charity furniture shops while I was in town. Need a bigger set of drawers for the conservatory, saw what I wanted in the BHF shop. £40. Will sand and paint them and will have twice the drawer space I have now. They’re delivering them on Saturday. Will have to check out what paint I have. Brought a magazine from WWG, someone had taken it in, having read it. Loads of crosswords etc, not been done. 👍🏻 x
