Lori Kay (Hoxsie) Stout age 65 of Howard City died unexpectedly Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Greenville Hospital. She was born April 4, 1960, in Greenville, the daughter of the late Rueben and Katherine (Miles) Hoxsie. Family was always first in Lori’s life, friends were a close second. She loved watching all her grandchildren and enjoyed being a mom. Lori enjoyed music and going to concerts and music festivals. She just loved living life and never ever met a stranger. If you ever went to the store with her it wasn’t going to be just a short trip! A favorite memory of her children was of her waking them up in the middle of the night to look at the moon. They now do that with their children. She always tried to have fun and do quirky things. Her family will miss her deeply. Surviving are her loving husband and friend of 28 years Kevin; children, Sara (Adam) Mueller, Matthew Murphy, Sadie (Nick) Caterino, John (Charity) Black, Riley (Tyler) Stout; grandchildren, Kaylynn, Jed, Milo, Hunter, Lilly, Landon, River, Tommy, Iverson; brother, Mike (Tena) Hoxsie; sister, Jan (Keith) Norman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Hoxsie. T
