Good Morning Grace...I can't imagine what it's like to be caught up in those temps and winds. I have only seen things like that on the telly. Getting stranded like that on the ferry for 22 hours that must have been exhausting as well as scary. You really do have a very different life to me. I have only been to Canada once and that was Toronto and that was in April. Hubby and I travelled around the states some years back and went to see Niagara falls and then onto Toronto. My Mom went some years she went some years back, to see the Rockies I believe. But of course these places are nothing like what you experience. We get a lot of rain here but you have probably guessed that. Our summers have definitely got hotter but you can still get a bad summer when the weather can just be mediocre. Our stormy weather tends to hit us most at this time of year. And we can have some real doozers. We don't get tornados or anything like that. Well that I know of. I realised you would have to be well kitted out to cope with those temps, you would have to be. Have you ever been over to this side of the world Grace? The only place I could imagine that would be similar to your weather on this side is Russia. But Norway and Green land would be other contenders to. Have a good day Grace xxxx
