Wobble...and I am staying please.

I have to make a speech at a reunion...I found this out the other day...the itinerary was released and there was my name in lights. Wasn't even asked. So I am going to be a Contrary Mary and just wing it with a few stories that they will probably wonder what the connect is all about. Also going to wear casual clothes with all the old biddies wearing their fancy duds. It will take two and a half hours to get there...and not staying overnight at the hotel so they will be able to freshen up and change. I am going for the comfort factor.

My one friend used to always call me Contrary Mary...because I never did what was expected. I think a good thing?
So I go to put in my hearing aid this morning...and after being in the charger all night...it did not give the usual little sound when putting it in my ear. Put it back in the charger...and it is flashing as if it is recharging. Really weird. It should have been charged after a full night in the charger like the other one. I hope that it hasn't died. It is just over two years old. The pair cost seven thousand dollars. Fortunately the cost was covered through government assisted aids program and my husband's insurance that carried on after retirement. But it is only for every five years.
