Good evening Kimalisa I hope your Monday is going well.  It has been a dry and sunny day though still on the chilly side, Pippin and I enjoyed our walk this morning and then I spent the day on the washing and some cleaning jobs indoors.  Is Trent staying with you now, I bet Bessie girl is happy.  Enjoy the rest of your day, take care. It was lovely today, very warm and almost all the snow is gone now. We put in the other outside light in the shed today and John put the rest of the plug ins in the workshop side. He’ll check to make sure everything works before getting the spray foam insulation done in case we need to pull some of the worries out. I’ll send you a picture of the front, the lights are just plain little ones but they look great! Johns dad has improved and was pretty good today. Hopefully he continues to improve!
I hope you get warm weather back, how are your plants outside? How’s Bessie? Has your migraine improved at all?

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! is Bessie ok after getting a bite of chocolate cookie? sending her soothing ear rubs. Dresden is already curled up in his bed, and sends sleepy snuggles to you, and to Bessie. he does not go down to the basement with me.  if he did get down there I would be a bit apprehensive about getting him back up here. the last time there was a warning was several years ago (before the young people moved in), and that was a single time. last week there were 4 separate warnings where we had to go in the basement. I have some folding chairs stored down there, and they have a bench and some lawn chairs stored so we used those. (it's a basic basement. we have our washers and dryers down there, and then of course the furnaces and water heaters. lots of room for storing extra rarely used stuff.) this new week looks a lot better weather-wise. today was quiet (and cooler outside; in the 40s!). I did a load of laundry, went to the food co-op, and yes, read. I'm reading another Ann Cleeves novel.
