Spent hours washing potatoes yesterday, ugh, I’m stiff and sore now from just standing and scrubbing. I usually leave the dirt on my potatoes but since these are being stored inside, in the kitchen, after 3 or more weeks I decided I should clean them to be ready to use. I need a cold storage room so badly, I need more space to be able to store canning and preserves as right now it’s all on cupboards in the spare bedroom. There’s no room for an actual bed in there now. Hopefully soon, I’ll have extra space and we’ll get things better organized.
John comes home today for 3 weeks! We have so much planned we’ll be very busy and he wants to get some hunting in. I personally could do without him doing any hunting but it’s great to have the meat in the freezer so I don’t say anything, I just go stay with James for a few days.
