Hi Kimalisa.

a windy afternoon hello, Kimalisa, and a splash! we're chilly again, 30F, and have a dusting of snow back on the ground. my sister left early this morning, and I just received a text that she's safely back home. we had a lovely time. we went to the conservatory (orchids!), and then went to a local greenhouse where we both bought house plants. Dresden is curled up on the couch and sends drowsy snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie many many ear rubs. today will be a quiet day here. take care, and hugs! xoxo 🌷❤️

Do you go to any of the festivities at Mardi Gras? I watched a bit on the live cams but without some sound it gets a little boring just watching people walk by. Lol! What is a king cake? I want some cake! Lol! I hope you’re feeling better today, has your medicine finally started working?
I went to town today, I wasn’t sure if I’d get out of the driveway because the snow is so deep. It’s up past the tops of my boots! Ugh! We got another cold warning for over night, it’s going down to -30 / -35.  Yuck! The 4x4 I drive was pushing snow in some spots going out the driveway, that’s how deep it is, there’s some drifts about 4 ft high in places.
