a quiet evening splash and wishing you a peaceful good night, Kimalisa! ahh! there's a memory! my dad listening to a Cardinals' baseball game on the radio. Dresden loved the ear rubs, and sends appreciative snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie many ear rubs. oof! will try to explain. yes, it felt good to write something more than dream journaling. but! I don't feel driven like I once was. I've reached a point in my life where I just want to *be*. (realizing there's a fair bit of decades worth of exhaustion in all of this.) take care, keep warm, and hugs! xoxo

I made beef stroganoff but used ground chicken instead. It’s all I could find in the freezer, lol! Tonight I made myself a burger and fries, it was excellent! I ran to town and got a few things, a couple gifts and a few treats for us when John gets home. The weather was absolutely awesome today! It got up to around -5! I wasn’t even wearing a coat! It’s supposed to be warm for a few days and then drop back down. With this weather comes crappy driving situations though, lots of freezing rain is being predicted all over the province. I’m glad I got all my crap done today!
