How did the weather go? Hopefully Bessie got some relief from the storms. We’ve had a few hot days and some showers at night so I haven’t had to water the garden. It takes about 40 min to water, the trees, flowers and berries are spread out and the garden is big. I cleaned the house today as John was coming home, he’s starting 3 weeks off now. He’ll help me finish planting what’s left, a few hedges, a couple flowers more onions and garlic. I’m still deciding if I should put my tomatoes in the ground or leave them in pots, they’ll transplant really easily into larger pots. The peppers I’ll leave in pots, they seem to like it. I hope we finally get my shed over do I can start working on it. I keep looking at stained glass tutorials, saving patterns and designing my own and I really want to get going on my own.  How are your plants doing? Are you getting anything to eat yet?

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! ok, I'll admit it: I laughed when I read about D cursing at the tv. ahhh, baseball! we've had rain most of the day, and the temp is cooler, but it's muggy. so, yes, windows closed, and air is on. the kitty boys have been snoozing most of the day. they send sleepy snuggles to you, and to Bessie, and appreciate all the ear rubs. I'm sending Bessie more ear rubs. glad to hear that she felt better today, and had a friend with her. I am on my last book in the Invisible Library series.  hoping I sleep well tonight. tomorrow I pick Ellie up from her Kid Strong at 2:30, take her home at 3:30, and then show up to the dentist at 4:00. then come home, and finish packing. I'm heading up north on Friday. won't have as many birds to watch because my sister had to take down her bird feeders. a mama bear broke into the shed where she keeps the bird seed. bird seed has been temporarily moved to the garage (more bear-proof). their neighbor told them that mama has 2 cubs.  anyways!
