Hello lovely Judith, hope that you managed to get all jobs done.  I had housework that needed to be done but after that grabbed some time in the garden, the weather has been good but is cooling down now.
Have the evening to myself, Col is out with a friend that he doesn't see very often, gives me a chance to finish a very frustrating jigsaw - a field in the Provence of lavender.....

Hello Sweet, another mixed day here, its dry atm but rain is due in a while. Brad and Ali didnt celebrate here yesterday. She was packing the cases and he had a gig in the afternoon . They are enjoying it today in the sunshine. I guess the no fear of insects etc came from my brothers as a child, we often went on long walk into the countryside , fishing the rivers for Sticklebacks and tadpoles. The insects was my interest , no idea why. More Bees emerging today , had a few of the larger ones visit recently, not sure if it was the Buff tailed Bumble Bee or the Carpenter Bee. Too far for me to see properly. I envy you all there so close to nature, its no wonder Margot loves it too. I miss the creatures that used to visit my garden. All this over development of what was once countryside here is the cause. Almost every inch of open land here is built on now.. l hate it. Too old to move now , and we have great neighbours so staying put. No l didnt enjoy the steak myself , l dont like Rump anyway so l am not surprised lol. . I do like the better type of steak like Sirloin (or even Braising to be done in the oven) though. Going to rain any minute now clouds are ripe now ready to pour down
