Hi Linda. Thank you for the spot. It was a lovely start to the day, bright sunshine and quite mild. Thought I’d take advantage of it and took a bus ride to Earlstown, about a 15 minutes journey. I wasn’t out long and on the way home it started raining, it never fails! Oh and I saw my first Christmas tree….why?? It’s only the 10th of November😡 Yes the Liverpool skyline has altered out of all recognition. The beautiful old buildings are now surrounded by ugly glass monstrosities.Spoke to my sister this morning. They were supposed to be staying until today but after meeting up with everyone, they decided to pack up and drive home yesterday. They arrived home at 8.50 pm after an uneventful journey. So they were glad they did. I’m still feeling tired, so doing nothing for the rest of the day. The roast went down a treat but I don’t think I’ll make a habit of it 😂 I’d definitely sit down to one that I hadn’t cooked, it’s the prep then the cooking I dislike 😂 Enjoy your afternoon, catch up later xx
