Hi Mitzi, thanks for the minty x Thanks yes I'm so much happier here. No date for the intercom to be fixed yet, hopefully they'll be out to look at it next week some time. The kitchen is the next room for sorting, not much really. I need a wall cupboard moving to the other side, a new light fitting and a lick of paint. I can't do any of those myself so will wait until I've saved up for someone to come in and do the jobs. After that it's really just cosmetic, everywhere could do with a lick of paint and at some point in the probably very distant future lol I'll replace the carpets.  I'm happier with the recliner now, it doesn't have a locking mechanism so once you're in position you have to keep quite still otherwise it sits you up again lol. It's compact so no room to move about anyway but it's comfy watching tv with my feet up. The navy/white hall sounds nice. I hope you can get your damp treated soon, surely all this rain has got to stop eventually, it's been never-ending. I'm going to have a quiet weekend too, seeing Dad for a brew at lunchtime then pottering about. I might take a walk round the park later if the rain holds off.
