Sounds like you had a lovely time despite missing your walk. Linda. I'm trying to change my attitude. My cat has a bad tooth. Its been so painful for her I honestly thought she was dying. She's the reason I get up in the morning. Without her I would be completely alone.
I like you am sick of the snow already. But I went out this morning and cleaned my car off. Heated it up and got it ready so we can go to the vet. Despite my age I can still do that. I can still bring wood inside and start a fire to warm it up in here. I can still do things for myself. Some women my age can't. So I'm counting my blessings. Despite the super cold temps, my car started and I was able to do things that I had to. So though I don't have family coming to see me, I do have other things that matter. And I need to focus on that. Oh and when I called him, Jaimie had already plowed yesterday and I didn't see or hear him. Golly! So I am lucky that those that help me care about me.
