Yes, Canival is huge over here. It officially starts on November 11th at 11:11 am. Through the weeks, but especially after New Year there are multiple parties in almos every town and the highlight is the street carnival with the parades, many of them also mock global politics in a satirical way (Trump and also Putin are welcome topics for that, but of course our own government, too). People of all ages dress up and many party hard and drink a lot. For me as a rather introvert person it's a nightmare come true *lol* Now I'm waiting for Easter (Can we please release the daffodils soon here in FL?).
