Welcome Spring 2026  May the Birds Sing, the Bees Buzz & the Butterflies Flutter...

Good Mornin Christi & Happy Weekend, I'm happy to say it's sunny, cool & a bit breezy however by noon it will be warm enough to do some final clean up & prep for seeding all beds. I did absolutely no Fall clean up, leaves, plants, the works, I have 15 trees & I created pollinator beds under 9 along with a 12x12 patch, everything stayed until I saw the queens emerge both in front & back, then I slowing cleared away the dead stuff. I bagged quite a bit & was able to add a bag or 2 to the garbage bin each week, my lovely state has no curbside green waste program, how dumb is that, instead they have 2 yrly citywide clean ups, and that can include large household items as well, it's nice to see people clean up around they're property. Like you the closest landfill is 20-30 minutes away. You know I stopped bagging my yard clippings & started mulching, it's healthier for your lawn, hubby did a great thing, thumbs up.. I hope the weather does a turn around for us both, we were under another freeze watch & of course my potatoes broke ground as did radishes, corn & garlic...praying they survive

I'm off to clear & then force myself to spend at least an hr. in the gardens...Wishing you a Lovely Peaceful Weekend...love & hugs
