My mistake, it was the mum, she is tiny.She is home now, all checked out and nothing needs to be done. We were lucky living at the top of the hill, there is a lot of flooding all around.My  hyacinths are out, they smell lovely.Before the rain came there was a lovely,big rainbow.Excelled myself this afternoon, replaced the light bulb.I find it difficult with my left shoulder not helping.All done now, the bulb definely blew.Sleep well, you will need it for that early start.

I have had to straighten/pick up things from last nights weather.It drizzled on our way to coffee, stopped now with some watery sunshine.I nust get the bin down before it rains again, which it is bound to do.House smells from the new carpet, kitchen smells of hyacinths, much nicer.I lost time this morning, have things to catch up on.No news re the boy taken away by ambulance this morning.No reply from hairdresser.I need to change appointment as that's only day my MOT can be fitted in.I might try that light bulb.

Mouse.I could hear the wind and rain during the night.We will probably go straight to a coffee this morning.I don't seem to set a garden that attracts watering, there is a problem somewhere.Hope you will be at home in the warm today.

Quack attack!

I was very brave this morning.Tackled fitting new filters in extractor.It must be designed by a man as it is so hard, cut my hand.It takes two carbon discs, complicated.Now the bulb on the stairs has bust, another job I hate.Going to do usual tonight so, sleep well.
