a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! a yellow wagtail with pink diamond spotted; thanks! (and, thanks for stepping aside for the baby raccoon spotting.) it's been an interesting day here. we started with sunshine, and heat, then around 2:00 p.m. a thunderstorm moved in . it was dark enough that the street lights came on. I managed to get home from the grocery store before it started. glad to hear you also managed to stay dry with your walk with Pippin, and your grocery shopping. I looked up your City, and will probably read more a bit later. Wisconsin and Illinois are both long states, and as I live in southern Wisc. I am closer to Illinois (about an hour) than I am to my sister who also lives in Wisconsin. she's up north, and so it takes over 4 hours driving to get to her home. anyways! today has been restful (after my appointment with the oral surgeon this morning). I napped during the thunderstorm. Dresden is curled up next to me, and sends drowsy snuggles to you, and to Pippin.
