Neville cleared his throat: "Luna said that Rolf was in charge of relocating magical creatures, I understand that -except for the niffler-, they are gone but are you going to repeat the operation? I've had received a similar mission with rare plant specimen and I was wondering if that was still an option?"
Snape hadn't recognized Longbottom and he replied as if he was not his former student.

"I am no longer in charge, ask the prime ministre of Magic, Mrs Granger-Weasley. A council of wizards, witches and house elves has been nominated to organize this situation. Who shall remain on the muggle world, who shall use this land to be with his family and begin a new life here and a few adventurers who want to explore the great unknown aboard the escape pods we've found. I have decided for the latter."

A low voice who had been the terror of his young years at Hogwarts made Nevill jumped. Before him stood his old potions master and it took Neville minutes to realize that he was no longer the Griffindor he was then. Snape was now looking younger than he was then and Longbottom had learned that it was due to him giving away decades of existence to ressuscitate former victims of the Voldemort's wars. Snape was talking with Luna, apologizing for being unable to do the same with her husband, Rolf Scamander.
"He shall be remembered and honored for trying his best to protect the animals he cared for. The lost realm has been emptied, litterally emptied by these sand creatures. I am the heir of... nothing. My people have disappeared." said Snape to Luna.

Harry, having heard Draco's idea devised a safe way to shield them against the incendio curse and made sure that both his son and Draco's were protected when multiple curses hit the inside and outside of the magical suitcase. Fire, as fierce as a dragon's breath, engulfed everything around their bubbles of protection, levitating in the air. Within minutes, it was over. The sand creatures had cristallized into glass. Not a living thing had survived except inside the magical bubbles.
