Good Evening Eastside, I hope the weekend was productive & that you found time for the cross stitch. I'm going to get a Cherokee this week to try it out, nothing like a fresh grow tomato sandwich on a hot summer day. got new lettuce planted & green onions, I think it's now time to sit back & watch it all grow, here to fresh veggies..

We attended the Air Show yesterday & I'm sure you've heard by now about the 2 F-18's that crashed, an hour into the show & then for the next 5 hours we were held captive on the base, apparently because of a grass fire the crash started along the only road off the base, we endured high winds, dust storms & rain all while not being able to leave, once we did we saw no crash site, burnt grass or any signs something happened.. Worst Air Show ever & I've been to a lot of them, hoping Gowen's Days of Thunder in August is better organized...

I hope your day is going well sweetie. I do different meats each week including Beef which is popular with the hubby and my youngest. Funny how sons tend to pop in for lunch for us both then lol. My favourite Roast for  dinner/lunch is Leg of Lamb. Sunday is our biggest meal of the week as we both need to watch our weight for health sake. I really like to have one day where the main meal is full on nutrition with a little bit of what we love (roast potatoes) . Usually its all we have to eat all day as we are full to the brim, until a light supper in the evening,  we have 6 vegetables dishes and tasty gravy lol. . Take care Hun , Hugs xxx
