Hello Cath, l agree family meals are good its a chance to catch up with news. Sunday it was only my youngest here for lunch , he is here most weeks. He lives alone so l batch cook when l can, and do his laundry monthly. So l know he has a good meal and clean clothes . Nice you have a good family gathering for lunch too. My older ones all have families of their own , so they dine together with their own. My eldest when he cooks with my D.I.L. sometimes sends us up a Sunday lunch . Thats if he gets a farmers pack that is, three joints of meat and a lot of vegetables (it wont keep long ) so its discounted. Its lovely not to have to cook lol. . Happy new week xxx
