🙋‍♀️&🐈Hate to think what the rest of the country looks like right now though - I know at least 1 person was killed in floodwaters up north and lot of damage done - state of emergency declared in a few areas of the Waikato. Haven't watched the news yet....Not ready for it.

🙋‍♀️&🐈Returning visit 🐈💦 Hi Connie, Got through the storm stayed up all night - it was too noisy to sleep, and the lights were flickering a few times, lost a piece of the plastic roofing that covered the outside doorway of the conservatory - my neighbour Richard returned it this morning....from his garden. But we're not flooded and about 10am they reduced the warning level from Red to Orange .....so we are OK. I went to bed about 2pm and slept through till about 8 pm then got up and had dinner lol. 🥝💛💙🕊️
