Good morning Mary
the storm is out in full force here. the wind is howling something awful and drafts are coming through the sealed doorways. it is cold. bitterly cold and somewhat eary. I opened the door to let the dogs out this morning and both my girls gave me a look to say i am utterly mad and they snuggled back into the blankets. i am dreading having to go out later.
Nice that you got to see the baby on Mother's day. today is officially 30 days till I see my hubby and can see my new grand daughter in the flesh.  I can't wait to cuddle her.  Knitted her a lovely pair of booties yesterday and today will be trying to make a hat to match. I am not a big knitter, but i can fumble along a bit.
have a super week ahead i trust your weather is much better than ours. Here they have closed the schools for Monday and Tuesday.

Hi Mary thank you kindly for the GD. Sweet potato, broccoli, fried mushrooms and steak. What a dinner. And chocolate cake for dessert. Pretty awesome for a Mother's Day dinner. We had a nice chat. I got to see where he is living and its quite nice. His kitchen is way nicer than mine! I got a visit with Sprinkles the hamster too and that was pretty cool. It was a long drive, but not as bad as I thought. He had to work tomorrow so I didn't stay too late and got home before dark. Now tomorrow I can relax except for chores.
So nice to talk to your Mom. Yes its pretty awesome that she's doing okay. And even better that she's coming to visit! Hope you have a wonderful night and a good day at work tomorrow! Sweet dreams (((HUGS)))
