Oh I hope the rest of your day is awesome Mary. I know we got an advisory about the air quality. I have no idea where the fires are. It seemed weird driving home yesterday, must have been smoke. It is much cooler today. So grateful that I am not melting!
Been working again. Forced myself to get up and do stuff. I am doing more laundry and cleaning out the drawers. Lots of stuff is going. I'm craving hamburgers for supper. And that will be a good lunch for the boy when he goes to work tomorrow.
So nice to make headway and see the evidence of me not just sitting around all day. The grass is brown and crunchy. I scared a bunny under the maple tree that is surrounded by greenery. So I couldn't see it, but it went jumping and making a racket when I brought my dresses in off the line.
I have to go out tomorrow and see if I can find a gift for Carol. Her birthday is Saturday and I am at a loss as to what to give her. I think I will figure something out. Not like I don't have oodles of things around here. I will put on my thinking cap.
The new sheets are lovely and I am very happy with them. The only way to make the smell of fresh sheets last longer is to hang them out.
