Hi pat , Liz and Anne came round to wish me a happy new year . They put my bins out for me too though I had got them ready. Just finished filling my new address book up tv is on but I’ve not been watching it’s just a noise  . Lifted a salmon wellington out for tea just my veg to do . Fires lit so I’m nice and warm . Terrible those deaths in Switzerland with that fire always something dreadful seems to happen at this time of year . Just had another shower of rain though suns trying to come out again, cold wind though . Going to put another log on the fire now then might read my book for a bit . Anne said the fireworks were really noisy last night and lasted well past midnight I must have been sound asleep. You’ve been a busy bee Havnt you . Got to pack the tv back up now and put it back in it’s box so I can take it back tomorrow , Liz told me to try Argos if I don’t get satisfaction there tomorrow xx
