The ‘pigswill & ham’ comment in the recent ad greatly appealed to fairyland’s crab population who flocked to the Gables in their hundreds over the coming days.  The new paddling pools were a big hit with the crabs, who spent a great deal of time in them or going from one to another.  As the pools were dotted all over the garden, navigating a way through the lines of crabby commuters was surprisingly difficult; particularly for the pie-eyed gnomes.   As both the crabs and the gnomes faced one direction and walked in another, albeit for differing reasons; incidents, accidents, arguments and the occasional clamping were now commonplace.   To escape the chaos, Glo decided to relax in a hot tub and generously invited a few of her guests to join her.  Unfortunately the sight of the bubbling tub of hot water instantly created a mass panic amongst the crustaceans, who fled the garden in short order and abject terror.
