It's kind of funny because I'm a quieter person and when I was younger I had a really loud best friend and now I have another one. THey do say that every introvert needs that one loud extroverted friend lol
Hubby and I usually talk at least twice a day. I take a mid morning break to give him a call and check in since he's about halfway through his day, then when I get home from work we talk before he goes to bed. Funny that I've had people tell me that we talk more than they talk with their spouse that they see every day. And you are right - I am grateful he has work! but not that he's gone- esp with winter coming- yuck. The worse is when something bad happens or you get bad news and they're not home. I don't really get lonely but times like that I do- when he can't be here for me or I can't be with him for him as I'm sure you also kno wwhat that's like.
