What a day yesterday was, got a 5.00 text from my sister saying my Mum had had another bad fall during the night, suspected break in her leg/hip again and she badly gashed her head open, I got up and we left at 6.00 to get to the hospital, my Mum was in a real bad state, had to have a brain/head scan and xrays, she had lost a lot of blood because she's on blood thinners, waited hours for reports to come back, thankfully no breaks just bad bruising, they couldn't remove a big clot from her head wound so couldn't stitch or glue it, was over hospital for 10 hours, they kept her in overnight but think she's being sent home today, got lots to sort out getting a care plan in place, finding life really difficult right now x x
