I'm sending Bessie many many ear rubs. and, yes, Dresden got treats today (and his medicine, too). it's been a busy day for me I had to be at the oral surgeon's office before noon. it was an extra appt as he was out of state when I had my last cleaning and xrays, and he wanted to recheck that one area. good news/bad news: no more bone implant/surgeries (I've had 2), but there's still a issue with the bone in that area. will just keep an eye on it, and hang on to the tooth as long as I can. then I went to the grocery store, and got home just before a thunderstorm rolled in. it rained steady for at least an hour, and I even managed to get a short nap. we're now down to 73F, but I'm keeping windows closed and A/C on as it will be hot again tomorrow. your Mexican hamburger rice recipe reminds me of the stuffed bell peppers Mom would make. the "stuffing" was made from hamburger, rice, and stewed tomatoes/tomato sauce. been a while since I've had it. glad to hear the migraine medicine is working, and that you're able to volunteer again. t
