Good evening Carmen, well, it finally happened, we woke up to snow this morning! Mum said the flakes were big and Ebony (my black Lab) was trying to get them off her back! There was enough to settle on rooftops and cars but thankfully it was gone by midday as the rain washed it away. It is bitterly cold and we've had the heating on most of the day, with dad's health issues and mine, it's more important to stay warm and say "sod the cost". If we need to, we'll cut back on other things. How are you? Did you peek out of those curtains in the end? I helped Luke with his packing this afternoon, he'll be leaving about 9am tomorrow as he has a bit of a journey to get to the airport. He saved really hard for this when he was working and is looking forward to attending his first ever Comic Con.

As a natural worrier, I will be a jibbering wreck from the second he closes the front door - lucky I have lots of knitting to do, eh? Or maybe I'll just hibernate in bed for the week, that sounds like a better plan 🤣 Did mum checked in? I hope everything is ok as I haven't heard from you. I'm off to bed now but do hope you are feeling alright. Sleep well and dream sweet xx
