If I were you I would suggest you to cook it even if it's just the 2 of you, then make a nice home made soup out of it however you could do that another day.
Tomorrow hubby wants to put the Christmas tree to which I really don't feel like because I always put it up 2 days before Christmas, plus having grand kids coming over to decorate it, which they love doing, so it sounds like we're both going to have a busy day tomorrow.
