Bush lark and PD thanks.Just one floor to go, tomorrow.I took my car out for a drive, hopefully to keep the battery happy.Had a dreadful shock when I rang a friend this afternoon.She hadn't replied to my last letter, or sent a card at Christmas.Her granddaughter answered the phone, my friend died on the 20th of Dec.She fell at home and fractured her hip.She didn't make it home again.We worked together back in the 80's and stayed in touch when I moved.Sleep well.

Cardinal.Once a niggle gets into your head, you just have to sort it.Kind of your neighbours, and saved you having to venture outside.My decorations are down and packed away in the garage.Downstairs has had a thorough clean and hoovered.Still have to wash floors, but maybe not today.

I was surprised to see that we had had some rain overnight.Clouds are moving over very quickly this morning.Had a great sleep, at long last.Still more to do today, not feeling too bad at all.

Mouse.No rain here, my barometer though has dropped back, a lot.Hope that's not a bad sign.It will be back to the grind for many come Monday morning.No gym for me this week, I can finish off removing decorations etc, instead.Hope we both sleep well.
