Old Man Turkey isn't with me this time. As most of you know, I'm away visiting my eldest son at his newly purchased home. It's a nice 1980s 3 bedroom in a quiet area. But, dear Lord, I must get a battery for his chirping smoke alarm ๐ณ
He treated us to an escape room yesterday evening. We went over the 1 hour time limit and asked for a lot of clues to help hahaha. Not our usual confident selves this time around ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ afterwards we chose board games and card games from a very extensive games library while enjoying a beverage. Girls had hot choc and I had peppermint tea.
Everyone is quietly sleeping now. Well there's that chirping smoke alarm....
Anyway, while my son goes to a cash job later today (currently 3:30am Sunday), I'll take my daughter and granddaughter thrift shopping for the day ๐๐ฝ I did want to see the Mandalorian movie as well (yes a Star wars geek) but got out voted ๐ฅบ
It's been close to 3 months since I last saw my granddaughter so it doesn't matter what we do, I'm going to make the most of it ๐ฅฐ
