My fairy’s a busy wee bee
She’s planting all her flowers
As anyone can see
Foxgloves, roses, lilacs
A pretty petunia or two
A riot of beautiful colour
She plants for me and you
Then when her work is done this day
And the evening light has come
She rises to the starry sky
For her work is not yet done
She’ll fly amongst your gardens

Then disappear into the dawning light
And start her day anew

Fairies floating in the soft moonlight
Wings that shimmer oh so bright
The man in the moon whistles soft Yuletide tunes
Enchantment fills the starry nights

So come and be a child in Fairyland
Dance on stars with fairy friends
Cherish long afternoons in the garden’s bright blooms
Play in dells and secluded little glens
