Hi Marion, hope you have a lovely evening. I spent most of the day in the garden after doing my chores in the morning. Beautiful day.... We put bowls of beer out to tackle those pesky slugs that keep eating the plants. Full of them this morning! xxx

That's sickening about the boat, at least you will have some fun on the body boards, hope it cools down for you to plant at Malcoms, it is like a brick the soil, Bet the odds enjoyed being dunked in water then a cool walk in the woods, hope it cools down tonight for everyone, have a  lovely Evening xxx

It’s another rainy day today
A day to stay indoors
I’ve given my little Seanachai
A list of weekday chores
Her bed’s in need of making
It’s really quite unkempt
For watering gardens and having fun
Is what really calls and tempts
The rain is splashing the windows
So begrudgingly she begins

And out the door she flies

Good Morning Marion, oh that will be so cooling in the not hot tub, and the new plants will be struggling in this heat, the soil soon gets baked in this heat, Its hard work doing anything in this heat though, I am doing tea but its Grandchildren who are coming as Nicola still at Hornsea and Aaron is teaching at York, Family at Aarons were mostly Trudis side of Family who we know well, but it was very hot indeed, My Ruby Wedding Clematis has really taken to this heat this year I have ten flowers in bloom, been in 12 years and never bloomed so well, really pleased, will send a pic, Stay cool and enjoy Brodie xxx
