Hubby update: Surgery in April was successful, however, longer healing process due to size of mass removed. Just now starting to feel better. Still no major trips leaving the house, except for appts. Biopsy was negative this go around, but prognosis is high chance to reoccur. Healing has triggered fluid build up which affects the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Have to keep all in balance and watch closely. Did end up with one ER visit right after surgery, but better now. Real life garden time kicked in, too so really busy between caregiving, working, and gardening. Thanks for thoughts and prayers. Take care all!

update: hubby's surgery did not happen in Feb; onward to reschedule of April. Good news on the eye front. Still needs injections, but not as often, and no more surgery there. Heart and diabetes stable.

Update: Hubby scheduled for surgery next week at KUMED center. Supposed to snow (of course it is for the trip to KC), so we'll see how that goes. Recent CT showed nothing new but some arthritis in left hip, otherwise stable for already know issues. Wish us luck on the surgery and Happy V-Day everyone!

Update: Injections in both eyes for hubby this past week. Cataract surgery all completed, and doing well, but has caused swelling in both retinas, so more injections. Met with cancer/bladder specialist in KC, and scheduled more surgery for February. Holding his own with diabetes, and other heart issues. Y'all have a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
