Hi ya Helen! Can't believe the holidays are over. This is my least favorite time of year, it's cold, everybody goes back to work & the gatherings stop until a Birthday or special event pops up. Oh well I move along, lot's to keep busy with, cleaning & putting away the decor plus I always start a new yearly book study of some kind. Glad the dinner went well & hope your Cousins party was nice as well. How can a party with food & presents go wrong lol. I guess Jack has gone back home? It's hard to see them leave.  :(  We had a great time at Amy's, was nice to just show up with food & gifts & not host it. Richards been off work so its great to have someone to go walk Penny with during the day & share meals & watch shows together. He got some new hearing aids & it's been a joy to have him hear me & actually keep up with the dialogue on tv lol. I have a few FL friends that want to start topiaries so will give it a try I guess? You are so close to finishing you must be feeling  relieved to finally get there. Hope y'all are staying warm & cozy, we've had some really nice weather & a few cold snaps will be moving in. Hello Helen, Happy New Year 🥳 quiet Christmas here and seems ages ago now.  Did you enjoy Chatsworth - it always looks amazing from the bits I see on TV etc. We would have to have a night away to do it justice though I think.  Hope your cousins gathering went ok too.  We intended to see the Wallace and Gromit exhibition at the Harris Museum on Monday but they were queuing out into the street with a wait time of an hour.  It was too cold to stand outside that long and I’m cross with myself really for not going sooner, before the holidays.  It’s been on three months and finishes on Sunday so demand is off the scale.  We’ll try again tomorrow and maybe on Sunday and be better prepared for the cold.  Time to think about taking the decorations down now - slowly.  Have a good weekend
