Hi Marianne,  they have come and gone.  Back tomorrow to recheck levelling, then floorboards go on, don't know how long it will take to install the boards.
Iv got 2 painting quotes so far. One was for just ceilings and walls. Then others asked about the doors, and i didn't think about the doors and thought it would be great to do them too, so got a 2nd cash quote for walls ceilings,  doors, and minor handyman work in my wardrobe shelves.
Got another retired guy coming Friday,  hes 78, so not he might do a good job, I might be being a bit biased.

I can't move anywhere in the house till 4pm, to let concrete dry, lucky I have the laundry door to out to the garage and get myself some lunch.
